Terms of service
Plain terms for a professional tool. The important one is the third section.
1. The agreement
These terms are between you and Zappfin LLC. Using OneLine Studio means you accept them. If you are using it for an employer, you confirm you may accept them on its behalf.
2. Your account
Keep your credentials to yourself and tell us promptly if you believe they have been misused. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend an account that is being used to attack the service or to break the law.
3. What the output is, and is not
OneLine Studio produces a design aid. The drawings, calculations and schedules it generates are a starting point for a licensed professional, not a substitute for one. They are not sealed. They do not constitute engineering or electrical advice.
Before anything produced here is installed or filed, a licensed electrician or professional engineer must review it against the code edition and local amendments actually adopted by the authority having jurisdiction. Field conditions, existing service equipment and local rules can all change the correct answer.
You remain responsible for the design you file and the work you install.
4. Your content
Your projects and the data you enter remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to host, process and display that content back to you and to anyone you share it with. We do not use customer project content to train models.
5. Payment
Paid plans and one-off unlocks are billed through Stripe. Subscriptions renew until cancelled; cancelling stops the next renewal and leaves access until the period ends. If a charge is wrong, write to sales@onelinestudio.us and we will fix it.
6. Availability
We work to keep the service available and take backups, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance is announced where it is likely to be disruptive.
7. Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before it arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
8. Ending it
You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may end access if these terms are broken. On closure you may export your data; see the privacy policy for retention periods.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States.
